HISTORY OF REVIVALS
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9.00am - 11.00am, 1 Credit
Lecturer: Ko Ling Kang, BTh, MDiv, ThM
Ko Ling Kang is a BTh and MDiv graduate of Far Eastern Bible College and earned his ThM in Historical Theology from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. He is currently serving as resident preacher at Sydney Bible-Presbyterian Church in Australia.

The purpose of this course is to study the history of notable revivals that occurred in the history of the Church. This course will help the student (1) have a biblical-theological understanding of revivals, (2) be familiar with the major events, denominations and individuals involved with the major revivals in history, with a focus on revivals within Reformed and Presbyterian churches, (3) be able to analyse critically and discern the marks of true biblical revival as opposed to the errors of revivalism, and (4) be encouraged by revivals of the past, and have a spiritual concern for revivals in the present.
