This course will study the book of Jeremiah in depth to uncover its biblical and theological truths and apply these truths to the church today.

This course seeks to examine the doctrines and practices of the Charismatic movement in the light of Scripture through a question-answer approach.

Tuesdays, beginning July 21, 9:30–10:30 am, 1 credit
This course studies the historical development of Christian hymnody from the time of the Old Testament to the Evangelical Revival. Students will learn to appreciate congregational hymns and their role in the edification of believers throughout church history. Such an appreciation of Christian hymnody will help students resist the rising tide of Contemporary Christian Music that is sweeping through many churches today.

This course is a study of missions and church growth principles in the light of Scripture. It is an introduction to systems, methods, and practical applications available for immediate use in the local church.

This course is a biographical study of selected women in Church history. Students will have a deeper understanding of some prominent women in Church history, and can draw applications for their lives today.

This course examines the history, development and theology of the Modern Text and Versions Movement in the light of Scripture.

This course surveys the period from the close of the Old Testament to the dawn of the New Testament (between 400 and 5 BC). It will explore the historical, political, social, religious developments of the world surrounding and relating to Israel to bridge the gap between the Testaments.

This introductory course explores the providential founding of modern Israel despite nearly two thousand years of persecution and opposition. By examining selected key events and major themes in the history of modern Israel, students will gain a foundational understanding of the historical, political, and religious developments surrounding the re-establishment of the Jewish state.

An overview of Christian education with four parts: developing A Christian philosophy of education, tracing the history of Christian education, discovering the principles of the teaching-learning process, and identifying the various age groups in Christian education.

This course is an overview of the Old Testament and will study into the history of Israel—God’s chosen nation. It is offered in three parts.

This study is an overview of the nature and contents of the Old Testament. A general familiarity with the background and literature of the Old Testament is foundational for other Old Testament courses.

A study of the nature and attributes of God, the evidences for the existence of God, the doctrine of the Trinity, the works of God, the decrees of God, and the meaning of the divine inspiration and preservation of the Bible.
Earn Your Certificate
Certificate of Religious Knowledge (CertRK)
The CertRK is a Bible study programme at the basic level. The successful completion of 20 credits earns the CertRK.
Certificate of Biblical Studies (CertBS)
The CertBS is a Bible study programme at the advanced level. The successful completion of 40 credits (or 20 credits beyond the CertRK) earns the CertBS.
Diploma in Theology (DipTh)
Lay students who wish to further their biblical studies after completing the CertBS may pursue the DipTh. Successful completion of 96 credits (or 56 credits beyond the CertBS) is required for the award of the DipTh. Interested applicants must submit a formal application to the College.
