GRH 062 Psalm Ninety

(1)
O, Lord through all the ages past
In Thee alone we dwelt secure.
Ere earth was formed, our God Thou art
And thus forever shall endure.
A thousand years are in Thy sight
As but a day or watch of night.

(2)
Then teach us, Lord, to count our days,
Our hearts to wisdom now apply.
Return, O God; Thy servants wait;
Do not Thy presence long deny.
With mercy satisfy our need;
Make us rejoice, be glad indeed;

(3)
The measure of the years now spent
Where in much evil we have seen,
O let Thy gracious will retore
With gladness, as on Thee we lean.
Thy servants yearn Thy works to know;
Thy glory to their children show.

(4)
The beauty of the Lord our God
This blessing humbly we implore
The light of life, Thy holy face,
Shine on Thy creatures evermore!
Establish Thou the work we do.
When to Thy self our hearts are true.
