GRH 432 My Lord and I

(1)
O may Thy life be seen in me
Jesus, my Lord, the King of King!
May others Thy great glory see
And note the happiness it brings.

(2)
Thy beauty may I always show,
Jesus, my Lord, the King of King!
Transparent that the world may know
The reason that my spirit sings.

(3)
Bend me, O Lord, as Thou shalt choose,
Jesus, my Lord, the King of King!
O let my service be of use
Because my spirit to Thee clings.

(4)
Sorrows and joys I share with Thee,
Jesus, my Lord, the King of King!
Let me live ever loyally
My mind removed from earthly things.

(5)
My heart wholly is on Thee stayed,
Jesus, my Lord, the King of King!
May no discordant note be played
To mar Thy song which in me rings.
