GRH 562 The Bread of Life for All Men Broken

(1)
O Bread of Life, for all men broken,
Of God’s own love His dear token,
We hear the words so gently spoken,
‘When you do this, remember Me.’

(2)
Humbly we seek the help of Thy grace
For our own souls, for all our race.
We feel the love in Thy bloodstained face,
‘Come unto Me, all ye laden.’

(3)
Now may Thy life to us descending
Enter our lives, all veils rending;
Emmanuel, our joy unending;
‘I am with you thro’ all the days.’
