GRH 587 Father of Men, Thy Care We Bless

With happy hearts we gather here
By will of God to join this pair,
The bride and groom becoming one,
One heart, one will, one life, one home.

(2)
Together may they walk one road
With faith and love to share life’s load,
Dear Father, bless and give them peace.
From hurt and want, Lord, grant release.

(3)
Preserve this home we humbly plead,
Grant these thy mercy, meet each need.
Help them to love the Saviour true
And serve our God their whole life through.

Our Lord in heav’n O hear our prayer.
May these long life together share,
In sun or shadow loyal be
Till both are safe in heav’n with Thee.
